The winners of the 2018 Sanders Graduate Student Awards have been announced by the American Philosophical Association (APA). Three winners are chosen each year, for the best papers in mind, metaphysics, epistemology, or ethics submitted for the APA Eastern Division meeting by graduate students. The winners are:
Amie Thomasson, professor of philosophy at Dartmouth College, is the winner of the American Philosophical Association‘s 2017 Sanders Book Prize for her book, Ontology Made Easy (Oxford University Press).
The Marc Sanders Foundation has announced that T. Scott Dixon, assistant professor of philosophy at Ashoka University (in India), is the winner of its annual metaphysics prize for his essay, “Plural Slot Theory.” (more…)
