The American Philosophical Association (APA) has announced that Timothy Williamson (New College, Oxford) will deliver the 2018-2019 Sanders Lecture.

The lectureship is awarded annually to “honor a distinguished scholar in philosophy of mind, metaphysics, or epistemology who engages the analytic tradition.” It is sponsored by the Marc Sanders Foundation and includes $3,500 plus travel expenses to deliver the lecture at a divisional meeting of the APA.

Williamson will officially receive the honor and deliver his lecture at the 2019 Central Division meeting.
