Have an Idea for a Philosophy App?
About five years ago, Caleb Ontiveros, a former philosophy graduate student who went into software engineering, wrote a guest post for Daily Nous about apps as a form of public philosophy and an app he developed, Stoa, with which people can do Stoic exercises, read Stoic philosophers, meditate, and “begin to embody Stoicism”.

Stoa now has around 150,000 users, and Ontiveros and his small team at Zeno Apps is interested in working with philosophers to develop other philosophy apps.
To that end, he has put out a call for collaborators:
Want to create an app for people to apply philosophical and contemplative practices in their day-to-day lives?
We’re creating new apps to help people learn about and practice powerful philosophies of life. To do this well, we need to work with people who are passionate about their worldview—philosophical, religious, or therapeutic—and want to bring it to life for others.
If you’re an expert on a philosophy of life or religion, have seen it make a positive impact in other people’s lives, and want to help popularize it, you’d be a great fit for this.
We’re looking for partners who can create content for users to learn and inhabit a life philosophy.
You can find out more about what Zeno Apps is looking for here.
There are a whole bunch of philosophy app ideas here:
