UNC Wins “Excellence and Innovation” Prize

The Outreach Program of Department of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has won a prize for “Excellence and Innovation in Philosophy Programs.” The prize is offered by the American Philosophical Association and the Philosophy Documentation Center. “This prize recognizes philosophy departments, research centers, institutes, societies, publishers, or other organizations that risk undertaking new initiatives in philosophy, and do so with excellence and success. It honors the success of these programs so they may inspire and influence others to follow their lead.” Previous winners are listed on the prize page at the PDC site.
