Priest from CUNY to Tohoku
Graham Priest, currently Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center, will be moving to Tohoku University in Japan.

Professor Priest is known for his work in logic, especially non-classical logic, as well as philosophy of math, metaphysics, Buddhist philosophy, and the history of philosophy. You can learn more about his writings here and here.
He will be taking up his new position as Distinguished Professor in the Graduate School of Information Sciences at Tohoku University in October.
understandable. Congrats!
I’ll bite: understandable in what way?
um, it would be understandable 2 wanna get away from Trump, no?
Also understandable in that Tohoku is putting together one heck of a group of logicians and it’s understandable to want to be a part of that.
Also understandable that they would want Priest. The man is brilliant. I fundamentally disagree with him about dialetheism, but he’s brilliant.
I completely agree with everything you said, but I don’t fundamentally disagree with him about dialetheism.
Personally, I both do and don’t.
That’s a bad (also not bad) joke, but I had (didn’t have) to (not) make it.
What was the AOS for the Tohoku position? I hear Priest is good for Nothing in Particular.
