The Stories of Bioethics
“When Medicine Becomes Torture: Burn Patient Dax Cowart and His Involuntary Treatment for 232 Days”, “Bomber, Pass By: How the Abortion-Clinic Bomber almost Killed Me”, and “The Biggest Loser Wasn’t Just Unhealthy—It Was Unethical” are just three of the episodes in Gregory Pence’s video series, Great Stories in Bioethics.

Gregory Pence is professor of philosophy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. For over three five decades he has taught and published on various topics in bioethics.
His series presents true stories from the history of bioethics, sometimes with information and insights from his own personal experiences, in roughly 10 to 15 minute episodes. He has released 17 of them, with plans for around 50 in total.

These are great, btw. I’m thinking about putting them into classes for next semester. Really an outstanding career, whose work has taught bioethics to so many.
