Pavese from Cornell to Oxford
Carlotta Pavese, associate professor of philosophy at Cornell University, will be moving to Oxford University, where she will be the Fulford Clarendon Professor in Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science and Fulford Fellow at St. Catherine’s College.

Professor Pavese works in philosophy of mind and cognitive science, philosophy of language, epistemology, action theory, and linguistics. You can learn more about her and her work here and here.
She takes up her new positions at Oxford on September 1st, 2025.
Congrats! St. Catherine’s (AKA St Catz) was a great place to study the philosophy of cognitive science and mind when I was there a decade ago. I imagine that it will be even better come September 1st.
