Zheng from Yale-NUS to Glasgow


Robin Zheng, currently assistant professor of philosophy at Yale-National University of Singapore, has accepted an offer of a permanent position in philosophy at the University of Glasgow.

Professor Zheng’s research is in ethics, moral psychology, feminist and social philosophy, with an emphasis on issues of moral responsibility, gender, and race. You can learn more about her work here.

She takes up her new position as lecturer at Glasgow in January, 2022.

Is this related to the fact that Yale-NUS is merging into other parts of the institution in the next few years? I’ve only heard a little bit about this merger, and haven’t had a clear sense how this affects the employment of the people currently employed by Yale-NUS.
