Otsuka from LSE to Rutgers


Michael Otsuka, currently professor of philosophy at the London School of Economics, has accepted an offer from the Department of Philosophy at Rutgers University.

Professor Otsuka is known for his work in political and moral philosophy. You can learn more about his writings here and here.

He will take up his position at Rutgers as tenured professor of philosophy in September of 2022. Before that, he will be a part-time visiting professor at Rutgers during the 2021-22 academic year, working remotely from London.

In addition to his professorship in Rutgers’ Department of Philosophy, Professor Otsuka will also be affiliated with the university’s Center for Population-Level Bio-Ethics.
