James “Jim” Edwards, professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Glasgow, died earlier this month.

Professor Edwards worked on topics in epistemology and philosophy of language. You can browse some of his works here. He earned his BA from the University of Bristol and his B Phil from Oxford University, after which he joined the University of Glasgow.
