McGrath from Rutgers to Washington University, St. Louis

Matthew McGrath, currently distinguished professor of philosophy at Rutgers University, will become professor of philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis.

Professor McGrath works in epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of perception. You can browse some of his research here.

The move will be a return to Missouri for Professor McGrath, who two years ago left the University of Missouri Department of Philosophy to head to Rutgers. He takes up his new position at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021.

This is the third senior hire made by Washington University in St. Louis this season (read about the other two in this post).
