Advertising On Daily Nous
Daily Nous is supported by caffeine and advertising revenue, so please buy me a coffee next time you see me, and also check out our advertisers. By “check out” I mean click on them and see what they’re about. They’re right over there → (on a standard screen), or down there ↓ (on a phone).
If you’re interested in advertising on Daily Nous, send me an email.
I’d like to start leveraging the reach of Daily Nous to bring discounts to my readers on various products—be it books, apps, old fashioned pencil sharpeners, subscriptions, etc. If you have ideas for what you’d like to save money on, please mention that in the comments.
Finally, I would like to thank my advertisers. In case you missed them, here they are:

I think adding the line “@@|http://dailynous.com|$document” to your adblock filter should set it to allow ads on the Daily Nous. It is not working for me right now, though. Perhaps because there are no ads to block?Report
Hi Rob. There are indeed ads! I’ll ask my IT guy if he has any advice for you about this matter.Report
I have my I have my Ad Blocker turned off on Chrome and I’ve cleared the cache, but I do not see the ads when I visit DailyNou in Chrome — the space under “Paid Advertisers” is empty (and it’s only about 40 pixels in height, so it’s not even recognizing that there are placeholders there). However, when I (reluctantly) use Internet Explorer to visit DailyNous, I see ads in the ad spot. So the problem might be contingent upon the browser. I hope that is helpful.Report
I use Chrome and the ads show up, even when I’m logged out of the site. Here’s what it should look like:

The ads started showing up in Chrome on my end as well. I am not sure what was going on the previous 5 minutes. I didn’t restart Chrome or anything. My apologies for any confusion (Feel free to delete my comments since they are now probably moot.)Report
Glad to hear it! I wasn’t too concerned, as the ads get clicked on several thousand times a month, but if people are having problems it’s good for me to be aware of them.Report
Books, journal’s subscriptions, conference fees, stationery, softwares, IT-accessories… the choice is yours!Report
