Sebastian Bender, currently “juniorprofessor” at the University of Göttingen, will be moving to Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich), where he will be professor of early modern philosophy.
Professor Bender works primarily on topics in early modern metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind. He is the author of Leibniz’ Metaphysik der Modalität (2016), among other works, which you can learn more about here and here.
He takes up his new position at LMU Munich in August, 2025.
