Fritz and Carter from Dianoia/ACU to UCL

Peter Fritz and Sam Carter, both recently of the Dianoia Institute of Philosophy at Australian Catholic University (which the university is eliminating), will be moving to University College London (UCL).

Peter Fritz and Sam Carter

Peter Fritz will be Associate Professor of Philosophy and Computer Science at UCL. He works in logic, philosophy of logic, metaphysics, and philosophy of language. He’s the author of The Foundations of Modality: From Propositions to Possible Worlds (2024), among other works. You can learn more about his research here. He will take up his new position at UCL in September 2024.

Sam Carter will be lecturer in philosophy at UCL. He works in philosophy of language and epistemology. You can learn more about his research here and here. He also starts at UCL in 2024.
