Rachel A. Ankeny, currently Professor of History and Philosophy at The University of Adelaide (soon to be Adelaide University with a merger with University of South Australia in 2026), will be moving to Wageningen University, the Netherlands, where she will be Chair and Professor of the Philosophy Group.

Professor Ankeny is a philosopher whose interdisciplinary research ranges across topics in the history and philosophy of science, bioethics and science policy, and food studies. She is the author, with Sabina Leonelli, of Model Organisms (2021), among other works, which you can learn about here and here.

She takes up her new position at Wageningen in July, 2024.
