Karl Schafer, currently professor of philosophy at the University of California, Irvine, will be moving to the Department of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin.

Professor Schafer is known for his work on in ethics and epistemology, and on Kant and Hume. You can learn more about his research here and here.

He will be taking up his position as Professor of Philosophy at UT-Austin in the fall of 2021.
