Saul from Sheffield to Waterloo

Jennifer Saul, currently professor of philosophy at the University of Sheffield, will be moving to the University of Waterloo.

Professor Saul works in philosophy of language, feminism, philosophy of race, and philosophy of psychology. At her new university, she will be the Waterloo Chair in Social and Political Philosophy of Language. She begins there on August 15, 2019.

Though moving to Canada, Professor Saul notes that she will continue to supervise her current Sheffield PhD students, that she will still be Chair of the Analysis Committee and, next year, President of the Mind Association. “I will be back in the UK a lot,” she says.

You can learn more about Professor Saul’s work here, and read an interview with her here.
