Douglas from Waterloo to Michigan State

Heather Douglas, currently associate professor of philosophy and holder of the Waterloo Chair in Science and Society at the University of Waterloo, has accepted a position as associate professor of philosophy at Michigan State University.

This is a really exciting hire for MSU! I urge students interested in engaged philosophy related to science, environment, medicine, agriculture, technology, etc., to check out MSU’s strengths in these areas.
