Bird from Bristol to KCL


Alexander Bird, currently professor of philosophy at the University of Bristol, has accepted an offer from King’s College London, where he will be the new Peter Sowerby Chair in Philosophy and Medicine.

Professor Bird’s research is on the metaphysics and epistemology of science and medicine. You can learn more about it at his site. At KCL he will be leading a research center focused on philosophical issues in medicine. He starts his new position in January, 2018.
