New Philosopher-Run Blog on Imagination

The Junkyard is a new blog dedicated to study of the imagination. Its creator and editor is Amy Kind, professor of philosophy at Claremont McKenna College (with technical assistance from Eric Peterson, a philosophy graduate student at the University of Kentucky).

At the moment, there’s an introductory post by Professor Kind about the blog, and starting tomorrow there will be a new post every other week beginning with one by Kourken Michaelian (Otago) on episodic imagination and episodic memory. You can check out the website to see who else is in the upcoming line-up.

Beyond the Ivory Tower. Workshop for academics on writing short pieces for wide audiences on big questions. Taking place October 18th to 19th. Application deadline July 30th. Funding provided.
