At the end of February, Gregory Wheeler left the philosophy faculty at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) to take up a position as Professor of Theoretical Philosophy and Computer Science at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

Professor Wheeler works in logic, epistemology, decision making under uncertainty, artificial intelligence, statistics, and cognitive science. He has recently focused on machine learning and machine epistemology, and part of his work in his new position will be to integrate machine learning and computational methods into the existing philosophy and economics program there.
