Jill North and Ted Sider, both currently at Cornell, will be taking up positions in the department of philosophy at Rutgers University. North, who works in philosophy of physics, philosophy of science, and metaphysics, will be associate professor of philosophy there. Sider, who works in metaphysics and philosophy of language, will hold the department’s new Mellon Chair. Their appointments begin July 1st, 2015.
