APA Creates Code of Conduct Task Force

In response to a petition received earlier in the year asking it to develop a professional code of conduct for philosophers, the American Philosophical Association has created a task force the aim of which is to “explore whether such a code of conduct is warranted and, if so, to develop one for board approval.” The task force was appointed by Chesire Calhoun (Arizona State), who is currently chair of the APA’s board of officers, and will be chaired by Nancy Holland (Hamline). More information about the task force, including its other members, can be found here.

(Note: the original version of this post mistakenly identified Chesire Calhoun as the chair of the task force.)
