Latest on the Ludlow Story

and the latest in the blogosphere: we have Ned Block calling the student walk-out on Ludlow’s class ‘vigilante justice’ and Leiter concurring that the walk-out is ‘unjustified.’

I wonder why Block (and, implicitly, Leiter), has not interpreted the walk-out more charitably, as an attempt to protect other undergraduates from predation by Ludlow? To presume it is about payback is a bit strange, when I should have thought student safety would have been the obvious motivator.
