Snedegar from St. Andrew to Virginia
Justin Snedegar, currently senior lecturer of philosophy at the University of St. Andrews, has accepted a position as associate professor of philosophy at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Snedegar’s research is mainly in ethics and practical reasoning. He is the author of, among other things, Contrastive Reasons (2017). You can learn more about his writings here and here.
In addition to his role as associate professor of philosophy at the University of Virginia, he will also be the director of the school’s Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law program.
He takes up his new position in the Fall of 2024.
