Schoubye from Edinburgh to Stockholm


Andres Schoubye, currently lecturer in the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, has accepted an offer of a senior lectureship in the Department of Philosophy at Stockholm University.

Dr. Schoubye, works in philosophy of language, formal semantics, and logic, and also has interests in epistemology (including formal epistemology), philosophy of mind, and applied ethics. He is currently writing a book on the semantics of proper names. His PhD is from the Arché Research Centre at the University of St Andrews.
