Helen De Cruz, currently senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, has accepted a position as a tenured full professor of philosophy at Saint Louis University (SLU).

Professor De Cruz works in philosophy of religion and philosophy of cognitive science. Prior to her position at Oxford Brookes, she was an assistant professor at VU Amsterdam and a post-doctoral fellow at Oxford. In addition to her scholarly research, she blogs at The Philosophers’ Cocoon.

When De Cruz begins her appointment at SLU in the Fall of 2019, her official title will be Danforth Chair of Philosophy.
