Paul C. Taylor, currently professor of philosophy and African American studies, as well as associate dean of undergraduate studies, at Penn State, has accepted a position as W. Alton Jones Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University.

Taylor works in philosophy of race, aesthetics, pragmatism, and social and political philosophy. He will take up his new position at Vanderbilt in the Fall of 2018.
