Report on the Yale Case from IHE
Inside Higher Ed reports on the recent social-media publicizingĀ of allegations of sexual misconduct against “a professor of philosophy at Yale University.” (previously hereĀ and here, with a discussion of some of the relevant issues here.)
“There was nothing illegal or unethical about the philosopherās encounters with the writer, and she said so in the piece (she was not directly his student, but met him at a conference).”
The IHE author has a funny idea of what “unethical” means. I am pretty darned sure the writer thinks the philosopher behaved unethically in their relationship.
