The U.S. Department of Education released the names of colleges and universities “under investigation for possible violations of federal law over the handling of sexual violence and harassment complaints.” You can check to see which institutions are on the list here and read an article about the investigations here. UPDATE: Though the official Department of Education press release refers to investigations of schools’ handling of both sexual violence and harassment complaints, it appears that the list includes only schools being investigated specifically for mishandling rape and assault complaints (i.e., not including complaints of harassment or hostile environment except where allegations of rape and assault constitute an allegation of harassment or hostile environment).
